Remembrance Day Parade ★

On 11 November 2023, we will be participating in a Remembrance Day Parade at the Richmond City Hall.

This event is MANDATORY. All cadets are required to participate in this parade due to its importance of respecting and remembering the veterans and soldiers who gave their lives for the freedom we enjoy today.

Date: 11 November 2023

Time: 0930h to 1200h

Drop Off Location: 0930h at Richmond Center Parkade (Southside near Tim Hortons)

Pick Up Location: 1200h at Richmond City Hall Annex Parking

For Drop-Off and Pick-Up locations, you will not be able to drive directly to the locations. Park your car somewhere near Richmond Center/ City Hall and walk over. There will be hundreds of cadets and officers around and you cannot be in the way. Make sure to look for 692 as there will be multiple air cadet units present and you will need to make sure you are with the correct group.

Dress/Uniform: C1 Ceremonial Dress

Anyone without a FULL C1 Ceremonial Dress Uniform must wear a white dress shirt, black dress pants, black dress shoes, and a black jacket (or something similar). If possible, please do not wear any bright coloured clothing.

We will be taking attendance and cadets who do not participate in this may not be chosen to participate in future squadron activities due to the significance of the parade as well as an indication to your commitment to the Cadet Program.

Any cadets who need to be excused must reach out to the squadron email inbox ASAP. No cadets are excused until an officer has cleared them.
