This process is for ALL events/activities that occur at BCIT Aerospace Campus and all rented locations. Extending hours beyond allotted team practices and parade nights is not permitted in any way unless authorized by officers.
Decide on what activity you would like to take place
Choose a location, date, and reasoning for the activity
Large scale activities (requires funding) must be planned 2 months beforehand
Small scale activities (does not require funding) must be planned 1 month beforehand
NCO IC will contact an officer or email the squadron inbox for permission
Permission will either be granted or denied.
If permission is granted, Op Order must be completed and submitted to the squadron inbox or directly to an officer NLT 1 month of activity date for large scale activities and 2 weeks for small scale activities
Op Order includes;
Emergency Response Plan (ALP cadets should know how to do this)
Map of location
Timings
All support cadets and their roles, all participating cadets with the appropriate syndicates/groups/lists
Reminder: Cadets only make suggestions. Officers make decisions and give permission. Cadets do not have the authority to make any plans without officers' approval.
